Well at least anyone who's seen the Swedish Film......I've been reading comments all over the net....why mess with perfection....why indeed ! But that's the American way....Just think Sabrina, and the latest mess Robin Hood .....not even Cate could save it....

WHY THE WRITTEN WORD MATTERS...
For me it's all about the word...there would be no love
songs, no poetry, no books and no films...........
I for one can't imagine a world without film...
What would a rainy day be without movies.
Where else can you escape the world for a few hours ?
How else can you have a good cry and not have to explain ?
But with all the wonderful original material why must film makers repeat the old ?
How many times can one story be made over ?
And of course, why does Hollywood think they can do it better than anyone else ?
And that is the reason for this blog...to talk books and film....
So my first question is : Should Hollywood remake the The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo ? Can they really do it better ?
